You really can't swim - You float

I couldn't get my feet under me to stand 

Basically you float & giggle

                     Tradition has one get covered with the "miraculous" Dead Sea minerals (read mud) for 

a skin treatment & a general health bath             

You get smeared with mud, let it dry as you walk around, 

and then into the Dead Sea to wash it off
