My Use of The Free Encyclopedia
I use, and quote, Wikipedia, http://www.wikipedia.org almost exclusively as the source for more detailed information on any area we have visited. I have modified what I found by reducing the amount of information I found to fit the more limited space of our pages and/or by using the more common American English spelling and non-metric measurements. In doing this I have not modified the Wikipedia authors' information or intent. I have removed individual links to other Wikipedia references from copied articles for ease of reading.
Please follow up on any information found on a visit's page by going directly to Wikipedia for fully documented information.
I have found Wikipedia to be perfect for efforts like this website and I intend to continue to encourage all viewers to utilize his most valuable source of information.
Wikipedia requires financial support as it is not a government but a public sponsored entity. Please read the notice form Wikipedia below and contribute to this precious resource.

Wikipedia
is non-profit, but it's the #5 website in the world -- serving 470 million
people every month with billions of page views.
We
work hard to keep our operation lean. Google might have close to a million
servers. Yahoo has something like 13,000 staff. We have 679 servers and 95
staff. | |
We
will never run ads. Commerce is fine. Advertising is not evil. But it
doesn't belong in Wikipedia.
If
everyone reading this made a small donation, we would only have to fundraise
for a few hours. Not everyone can or will donate, but each year just enough
people decide to give. | |
We only raise what we need. When we've raised our budget, we stop fundraising for the year. |
This year, please consider making a donation of $5, $20, $50 or whatever you can to protect and sustain Wikipedia
